I started out the year with some great plans, but a lot has changed. I was even going to add a visit to Admiral’s Cove and some techie friends (hey Lisa!) there in Jupiter, but running my little company has gotten in the way. What you say?
Taxes. I am here finishing all of the paperwork for employees, income tax estimates and etc. It is nasty work that ends in me sending money to Uncle Sam, but hey, we all have to pay our fair share, right? I mean, if we don’t who will. I was on a webinar earlier in the week with the guys in Virginia Beach and you could hear the jets going overhead. It is a comforting feeling to me to have our freedoms protected. Happy to pay for that, just not as happy about all the paperwork.
Another Reason: WordCamp Atlanta sold out. That really bums me out. I have helped run WordCamps here at home and they are a blast. Was really looking forward to that one. Sorry Ryan and Wayne! That will have to be next time…
Anyway, all of this stuff to do has affected a lot of my plans but we will get through it. The good news is that my business is growing and I have more to do than I can say grace over. In this economy, that is a good thing.
